It was Ladies Night at Tir Prince on Saturday 19th August and the crowd was swelled with dozens of well dressed ladies who had come to try and win some of the prizes on offer! It was great to see so many new faces at the track and we really hope that we see the again very soon. The atmosphere at the track and in the bar afterwards and great and its fair to a good time was had by all! Winner Of The Best Dressed Lady Competition and A Spa Day for 2 in The Kinspa Abergele was Sarah Thomas well done Sarah!
The action on the track was very good with Coalford Earl just getting up to beat Triplicity on the line in a thrilling finish. Race 2 saw Marc Elvin lead from pillar to post and take the honours on Éclair Du Torp, whilst Lyons Ace Of Spades won race 3 under Josh Edwards. Evenwood Sonofagun qualified for The Crock of Gold Final when taking race 4 in relatively easy fashion. Race 5 was taken by Rhys Evans on Equilia Du Hauty which is owned by The Lyons Mound Family. Race 6 saw Rhyds Design make amends for his recent disqualification at the track when winning for James Haythornwaite. Race 7 was a walkover for Party At The Spa due to the withdrawal of the other 3 runners in the race for various reasons. Race 8 was The Stagbi Broodmares Race and Rhyds Passion won in fine style to show that she was the boss of the equine ladies on this particular night!
