Tir Prince Crock of Gold 2014
Tir Prince Raceway are delighted to announce that we intend to run a Crock of Gold Series in 2014 culminating in a grand final to be held at Tir Prince on Tuesday 2nd September 2014 with a Guaranteed £5,000 prize fund for the final. It is proposed that the heats shall be ran on the following dates at the following venues;
Saturday 21st June 2014 at Tir Prince Raceway
Saturday 28th June 2014 at York Harness Raceway
Sunday 6th July Ceredigion Races
Saturday 19th July 2014 at Tir Prince Raceway
Saturday 26th July 2014 at Musselburgh Racecourse
Tuesday 5th August 2014 at Tir Prince Raceway
Friday 22nd August 2014 at Tregaron Races
1)Conditions for heats will be at the tracks discretion however this series is for top grade horses and it is anticipated that the heats will be Free For All Races.
2)The first 8 horses home in each heat will be awarded points from 8 for the winner through to 1 point for the 8th horse.
3)A league table will be formed and the top 8 horses in the league table will qualify for the final.
4)The final will be run as a free for all with position drawn on the night
5)There will be a maximum 8 runners in the final
Should a horse in a qualifying position be unable to run in the final then the next horse in the league table will take his place. In the event of a tie the horse with the most wins will qualify
