This article was posted on: 3rd August, 2010A very competitive nights racing was watched by a large, enthusiastic holiday crowd. The weather was sunny and dry but a little cooler than last week. The first 2 races were won by only a neck and there were close finishes for 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd in all the races. The highlight was the preferred free for all won by Ayr Mission in 1.596 from Caenwood Beachgirl and Cams Artist both given the same time of 2.012. There were also wins for Victory Storm in the trot, Oakview Prince, Camden Lock (both 1st time winners) a second successive victory for Saunders Desire, a very impressive win for Teddy Get Ready and a win for No Mercy.
